REMOTE EDUCATION GUIDELINES: PARENTS (JAN 2021)

FULL CLOSURE
• Lessons for English Language, English Literature, Humanities and Maths will be placed on ClassCharts weekly, with 1 piece of work to be submitted by students
• All other subjects, including separate sciences, will upload 1 lesson per fortnight on ClassCharts with 1 piece of submitted work expected.
• All work will be placed on to ClassCharts in PDF format so it is viewable on all devices. Other formats could be uploaded to allow students to directly edit documents, but only as an added bonus.
• All tasks will be able to be completed without the internet i.e. ‘offline’ once it has been viewed.
• Class teachers will put work on for their own class.
• Teachers may record audio/video introductions or parts of lessons (in MP3/MP4 format only) but are aware that students might not have the ability to access these so they will only be an added bonus to the content placed on ClassCharts.
• Teachers may also deliver ‘live’ lessons at the time of their timetabled lesson if they wish, but again are aware that students might not have the ability to access these so are an added bonus to the work placed on ClassCharts. We will use Zoom to do this by creating the session and then sharing the link via ClassCharts. Guidance is here
