15th July 2020 – School Update

SENT ON BEHALF OF SIMON MARSHALL, DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION SERVICES,

We have been asked to collect some information about what parents have planned for home to school transport in September. We have compiled a very simple Survey Monkey questionnaire for parents, which asks them to identify the name of the school and their preferred mode of transport. This information will be used to help public transport providers understand the expected demand and also to support the council’s traffic management plans.

Please can all parents/ carers of year 7-11 students complete the form. This includes current Y11 pupils, as this will help in understanding the demand for post 16 provision.

If there are any further specific SEND transport questions, please contact Paul.Tomlin@togetherforchildren.org.uk

I have also added a link from the updated guidance regarding GCSE exams. Released on Monday night, this update provides additional detail on centre assessment grades and arrangements for 2021.

Thank you for your continued cooperation and support.

Best wishes

Simon
